Toby and EstherToby is a lively, inquisitive and very personable New Zealand White, in the prime of his life, and madly in love with Esther, a wily Britannia Petite, also white. As of April 2011, Toby is seven years old and Esther is about 3 years young. Toby and Esther love each other very much and should not be separated. Toby is the cuddle-bun and will give you amazing clicks and purrs when he is petted. Esther appears skittish, but this is just her personality and it is quite entertaining to watch as she races around the room, squeezes into the smallest spaces, and does amazing binkies. Indoor home ONLY. Contact : nellie409@yahoo.com ( back to top )
See us on YouTube!Happy and Joey Guten tag! We are two wacky young bonded sisters who were rescued as babies in September 2010. We will turn 1 year old in June, 2011. Happy, the orange-gal, weighs 5 lbs., and Joey, the whiter one, weighs 6 lbs. When Frau Happy was found outside, one of her front legs was badly broken, and needed to be amputated. But don't let that fool you, she gets around just fine, doing fabulous binkies and dances like everyone else. Did we mention that we are super playful and hilarious? It's true! Our antics will surely amuse any observant, curious human. We love our boxes, tunnels, and other toys, and will need lots of space for running and jumping in our new home. We have secret jobs delivering packages when our foster mom isn't looking; we are really busy! After all of the work is done, we like to chill together and with our peeps. Please consider adopting us, because we are really adorable...and funny! Did we mention that we are funny? Indoor home ONLY. Benji is a bit more shy but together they will entertain you all day. All they want in life is a little room to run and play
and carrots! They would prefer a home without children and in the Portland Metro Area. If you are interested in these
happy-go-lucky little guys please contact us. Indoor home ONLY.

Big Bob and Little Lily
are a young, bonded pair of minilops. In mid-July of 2011 they were rescued after a man in a white pick-up truck dumped
them at a park in north Beaverton. Our vet estimates Bob and Lily to be about six to seven months old, as of late
September 2011. They're clearly a bonded pair, likely siblings, and are social with calm children and adult people.
They're pretty tolerant of being picked up and held when necessary and both, especially Lily, seem to like to be petted and
stroked.
Bob and Lily were recently neutered and spayed, and didn't seem to miss a beat following their procedures. On their daily menu they currently enjoy Timothy grass hay, alfalfa pellets for young rabbits, and assorted fresh greens: orchard grass, dandelion greens, Queen Ann's Lace greens and young flowers, grape and raspberry leaves. We offer greens daily, but in small quantities, as large amounts seem to upset Bob and Lily's normal, twice-through digestive flow. Bob and Lily were recently reunited, following a two-week recovery after their alters. They're clearly happy to be together again, and should be adopted out as a pair, not separated. They are likely suitable for a home with children, so long as there's adult supervision when Bob and Lily have contact with human kids. These rabbits presently live indoors, but love outside time on dry days in a safe, larger enclosed pen, with cardboard boxes for hiding and play, food dish and water, and the company of their human companions. Felix (special need - 2.5 year-old male mini fuzzy lop) and Cornpop (1.5 year old amber female) need a special forever home where their frequent grooming, pen cleaning, and care will be lovingly provided. They both battle poopy-butt. I will train on long-haired clipping, butt baths, and grooming for them. Felix was a Waldport rescue, and Cornpop was left in a box at a Vancouver major pet chain. Both love each other dearly, and are happiest with lots of space. Indoor home, Portland area only. Contact : jhhutto2@msn.com ( back to top )
Buckwheat and Pammy_Jo
Pammy Jo was rescued from a park in September 06 and Buckwheat was rescued from a shelter in the summer of
'06. Each was 6 - 8 months old at that time. They both have the coloring of a wild rabbit with white tails. Pammy Jo, with her big jack rabbit ears, is a little hesitant on first acquaintance
but warms up quickly. She likes to be brushed and petted. Buckwheat, with his sweet chubby cheeks, is the
adventurer of the two and is very curious. He is very friendly and enjoys love. The two became enamored
when they were next door neighbors and bonded quickly. Both are great with their litter box. Pammy Jo weighs
6 pounds and Buckwheat weighs 5 pounds. They are currently in foster care in SE Portland, OR. Indoor home ONLY.

Sadie and Monti
are two sweet, yet shy and skittish rabbits who would appreciate a patient, loving, quiet home with no small
children or dogs. They were rescued in 2007 at a business park in Clackamas. Each bunny was about a year old at
that time. Sadie is a gorgeous chinchilla-colored, 5-lb. gal, who will need some time to adjust and to trust
her people once she finds her forever home. Monte is a sweet guy, who weighs around 4 lbs., loves being petted and
snuggled, but still requires peaceful surroundings. The foster mom of these two sweethearts thinks that they will
thrive in their own home, and with time they will settle in just fine. This is a bonded pair, and they must be
adopted together, to a Portland-area indoor home.

Murphy and Mimi
Rescued from a business park, Mimi and Murphy were together when caught in Clackamas in November 2007.
Each bunny was about 1 year old at that time. Both are white with grey markings. Murphy has lighter grey
markings and beautiful and unusual light grey markings around his eyes. Mimi likes to sleep in a small box
in her cage and Murphy likes to make music with his pellet bowl. They are still warming up to people and would
do well in quiet home. Although reserved, both like to explore and are curious about the world. With the
right investment of love, you would have two best friends to keep you company. They are great about using
their litter box. Murphy weighs 5 ½ pounds and Mimi weighs 5 pounds. They are currently in foster care in
SE Portland, OR. Indoor home ONLY.

Mamma_Mia and Muskrat
Mamma Mia and her daughter Muskrat were rescued from Mt. Tabor in October 2007. Mamma Mia was a very young mother,
thought to be about 6 months old at that time and her little girl, Muskrat, was just a 1 or 2 month old baby!
They were adopted to what was believed to be their forever home but when their family moved to Hawaii it sadly
necessitated their return to foster care. These lovely poetic ladies are calm, quiet and love each other very much.
They are initially cautious during interactions with their human caregivers but soon warm up, relax and snuggle when
they understand you are safe and friendly. When out and about for exercise (in a safe, secure and bunny-proof indoor
location) they are curious and energetic and love to explore. They have beautiful glossy black coats that will benefit
from regular grooming and gentle brushing. They love to eat lots of hay and other bunny-appropriate foods and enjoy
lounging together in their cardboard tunnel. They would love to have their own family again. Any children need to be
calm and respectful. These beautiful bunnies will once more blossom in a loving home with room to play and lots of
attention. Once you meet Mamma Mia and Muskrat you will not be able to live without them! Indoor home ONLY.

Cara and Rags*
You must meet Cara and Rag-A-Muffin ("Rags") to fully appreciate the charm and beauty of these mischievous
Angora busy-bodies! They make it their business to keep track of the activities of the other bunnies in their
foster home. No one can pass by their pen without being greeted. The rest of the time they spend enjoying each
other's company, snuggled together or racing around their foster home and getting into everything!
(Bunny-proofed home is a must!) Angoras require daily grooming of their gorgeous fur to keep it free of
tangles, dirt, hay and mats. (Look at those adorable furry faces and "fountains" of fur on their ears!) It
requires a very devoted caregiver to make sure their coats stay in top notch condition to keep them healthy
and comfortable. (In this photo they recently had their coats trimmed to resemble sweet little lambs, which
helps with maintenance and comfort and still looks beautiful!) They are looking for someone who can offer them
plenty of room to stretch out and lots of play space for exercise and fun -- these are not small bunnies
(both tip the scales at about 8 pounds)! They tolerate being picked up and Rags will allow you to give him an
occasional gentle hug. Born in July 2008, they were rescued as babies and soon adopted. Recent changes in
their family's circumstances forced a return to foster care. We are sure their forever home is waiting with
someone who is able to provide the love (and grooming) these beautiful fluff balls deserve, and who understands
that they don't want to be exploited for their fur. They thrive on a diet of hay, pellets and bunny-safe
vegetables. Indoor home ONLY.

* Long haired rabbitsGrooming can be a great daily ritual where you and your bunny make time for each other. You can groom while watching your favorite show, after a cup of tea, or before bed. It's soothing for you both -- and a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your companion animal. If you simply don't have the time, angoras can be trimmed down (carefully!) with special scissors every other week. And like wathcing a living chia pet, you can see them grow back into all that fluff!
