Nick_of_Thyme.
is my name because I was literally rescued in the nick of time! I came to Rabbit Advocates in September 2009,
because I was not being cared for by an owner in WA. He surrendered me to our group to give me a better life.
(I was getting a dreadful diet, my ears were infected; I had a lump on my dewlap which was removed, plus fur
mites and fleas!) I got well thanks to RA and my foster mom. I thought I had the perfect adoption, a forever
home, and I lived there for 2 years. Sadly, my human mom and dad are getting divorced, so I came back to my
foster home right before the holidays. I have a clean bill of health, am probably about 4, as of 1-2012. I am
friendly, socialized, and my personality is seriously addicting. I keep a tidy pen, but would prefer to have an
open door policy to my pen as I love to explore and do the bunny hop. I can be a little impatient with toddlers
or young kids. My foster mom said she will be picky about where I go this time! She says I should find a

Mighty_Whitey
is our only paid Supermodel bunny and he would love to show you his portfolio. He was hired for a photo shoot
by a local business for an advertising campaign and was a very cooperative and willing subject. He was rescued
from Mt. Tabor. He has a very sweet personality and
loves nose strokes and petting. He definitely does not like slippery surfaces like pergo or linoleum and would
do best with a rug or carpeted surface where he can show off his special sideways binkies! He is good with his
litterbox and loves to try new fresh vegetables and herbs. He is currently living in foster care in SE Portland,
waiting for his new home! MW is about 3.5 years old as of May 2011. Indoor home ONLY.

Dirty HarryMy original name was Harold, but since I lost my dear bond mate Maude, I like being called Harry. I would love to be bonded again. I also love my exercise time and can do especially nutty, excellent binky dances. A tiny bit shy, I prefer a quiet home but I am mellowing out and am as gentle as they come. Pablo
is a sweet and good natured rabbit who loves to sit with you and get pets in between bouts of exploring his surroundings.
He is unfazed by dogs, but caution must always be extended when introducing your existing pets with a rabbit. He absolutely
loves the lady rabbits (!) and if you are looking for a lovely partner for your middle age female rabbit you will not want to
pass Pablo by! He was found as a stray but was micro chipped 6 years ago, his age at that time is not known, so he is 6 at the
youngest. He was obviosuly someone's well loved pet as he is 100 % socialized and is really one of the sweetest rabbits I've met. Like all rabbits he loves fresh veggies (especially cilantro and parsley!) and is happy to take them from your hand when you offer them. Pablo is amiable, handsome, and adventurous. He seeks an indoor home only with space to explore, hopefully with a friend. He likes to sit on the couch or your lap and watch you type. Roscoe
Roscoe is a BIG cuddle bunny! This beautiful approximately 4-year old (11/11) Rhinelander loves to be held, to run and to nibble dandelions. He's friendly with other bunnies and
doesn't notice cats. He will be the dominant one in your bunny family, so he will need his own pen with plenty of room to stretch and lots of
time out and about; in fact he could probably live in the house with his pen as just a home base.

Percival
is a 1 1/2 yr old friendly Lop boy who was brought home to be friends with another rabbit, unfortunately she
was not wooed by him and they were never bonded but still lived together until their person developed severe
allergies that required her to give them up. He would love to go to a new home where has lots of room to run
around and explore. Since he is still quite young he hopes his new home will consider finding him a rabbit
friend at some point (a spayed female friend that is!) but he doesn't mind if he is a single rabbit for a
little while to get lots of love and attention all to himself! He is still working on his litter box habits,
now that he is neutered that should help quite a bit. He enjoys hopping all over, watching bizarre movies or
funny sitcoms late at night (Iceman with Timothy Hutton anyone?), listening to classical music, straightening
throw rugs or bunching them up, fresh veggie treats!, saying hello to the lady rabbits, flopping, and so on. He
hopes to one day run into Timothy Hutton down in the Pearl District so he can tell him he prefers him in The
Falcon & The Snowman. Incidentally, he does not care for falcons, but is fine with snowmen.

Lambert
is a 6 year old neutered male half lop white with grey. Lambert can be a bit shy at first but if given space to expore he
is a very curious and friendly guy. He does have a bit of a non-harmful "scanning" behaviour. This means you will
notice his head scanning from side to side once in a while. It doesn't require anything from you. He is getting
much better at being held and petted and no longer runs and hides when I come into the room, he is very eager for
treats and I am sure with love and time will warm up to his forever family.

Ash
is a 6 year old neutered male black up eared guy. Ash is a very sweet and very shy fellow. He will require some time to get to
know his new home and people. Ash feels most comfortable when he has a nice place to hide in and can peek out
and watch what is going on. He will allow you to hold him and with frequent love and treats will come around and
break out of his shell to be the rabbit he was meant to be.

* Long haired rabbitsGrooming can be a great daily ritual where you and your bunny make time for each other. You can groom while watching your favorite show, after a cup of tea, or before bed. It's soothing for you both -- and a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your companion animal. If you simply don't have the time, angoras can be trimmed down (carefully!) with special scissors every other week.And like wathcing a living chia pet, you can see them grow back into all that fluff! | |||||||||||||||||||||
